Job summary

HNTB seeks a Planning Intern for Summer 2027 across our Central States office. The role involves supporting project teams, performing basic research and data collection, and helping develop graphics and reports for transportation planning projects.

Enrolled students in related programs will assist in maintaining records and presentations, with relocation not provided. VISA sponsorship is not available for this position.

What You’ll Need

• Enrolled in a related undergraduate or graduate program

What We Prefer

• AutoCAD and/or MicroStation experience.


• Strong interest in transportation and infrastructure.


• Experience and/or interest in Traffic Modeling
