Job summary

HNTB Corporation is seeking a Planning Intern for Summer 2027 across multiple office locations including Kansas City, MO, and Des Moines, IA. You will support project teams with research, data collection, and graphic materials under close supervision.

This co-op is ideal for students enrolled in related programs seeking exposure to transportation infrastructure. Ideal candidates have interest or experience in traffic modeling and a desire to learn in a professional, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a related undergraduate or graduate program.
• AutoCAD and/or MicroStation experience preferred.
• Interest in transportation and infrastructure.
• Interest or experience in traffic modeling.

What You'll Do

• Maintains records, collections and files related to specific projects.
• Assist in the development of graphics, presentation materials and reports.
• Performs other duties assigned.

What You'll Need

• Enrolled in a related undergraduate or graduate program

What We Prefer

• AutoCAD and/or MicroStation experience.
• Strong interest in transportation and infrastructure.
• Experience and/or interest in Traffic Modeling
