Hitachi Rail Honolulu JV is seeking an enthusiastic Intern – Operations and Maintenance Engineering for Summer 2027 in Pearl City, Hawaii. You will work on real-world projects, gain hands-on experience, and be mentored by senior engineers on a team dedicated to urban transit systems.

• Currently enrolled as an engineering student at a 4-year university with graduation between Dec 2027 and Dec 2028.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze field data to determine maintenance needs and correct failure rates for each equipment.
• Contribute to preparation of a field analysis report.
• Contribute to O&M documentation and participate in internal design reviews (minutes and actions).
• Assist in preparing O&M Management Plan, Operation Plans, Maintenance Plan, Training plans, Spare Parts and Special Tools lists.
• Participate in projects, bidding, and delivery phases within project schedules.
