You will gain hands‑on engineering experience while contributing to testing, evaluation, and reliability. The role requires on‑site work 15–20 hours per week this Fall 2026, with potential continuation into additional semesters.

Qualifications

• EMI and environmental qualification testing per MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-810, or RTCA/DO-160G.
• Prototype testing, troubleshooting, and evaluations of product performance.
• Develop and modify software tools and automated test applications.
• Prepare and maintain test procedures, technical reports, and supporting documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, setting up, and conducting EMI and environmental qualification testing per standards.
• Support prototype testing, troubleshooting, and engineering evaluations to assess product performance.
• Develop and modify software tools and automated test applications for testing activities.
• Prepare and maintain test procedures, technical reports, and supporting documentation.
• Design and assist in fabricating mechanical test fixtures using CAD and machine shop equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering personnel to operate test equipment and analyze data for process improvement.
