Job summary

You will work closely with mechanical designers on CAD models and documentation, gaining hands-on experience across the product lifecycle in a defense-tech environment.

Qualifications include being enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Mechanical or related engineering field.

Qualifications

• Experience with CAD or finite element analysis tools is preferred.

Job Description:

• Provide mechanical engineering support for both new product development activities as well as factory support of existing products
• Work directly with mechanical designers on CAD models and part documentation

Qualifications:

• Must bepursuing aBachelor’sdegree, aMaster’sdegree, or a PhD inMechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Materials ScienceEngineeringorrelatedfieldat an accredited university.

Preferred Skills:

• CAD or analysis (FEA) tools exposure, and/or experience in mechanical design or analysis of electronic systems,structuresand mechanisms
• Must be able to apply the principles of Structural Mechanics to predict internal stresses and structural instabilities
• Familiarity with finite element methods and fatigue
• Familiarity with finite element methods and fatigue and damage tolerance principles
