Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Lab Intern to join our team in San Francisco, CA. The 11-week, full-time paid internship runs June 1st–August 13th, 2027, requiring student enrollment in a relevant bachelor’s program and a strong interest in lab science.

Interns shadow professionals, assist with specimen handling and inventory, and participate in mock testing under supervision while gaining real-world experience in a fast-paced diagnostic environment.

Labcorp is seeking a Lab Intern to join our team located in San Francisco, CA.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm / 40hrs per week

Job Responsibilities

• Shadow laboratory professionals and learn diagnostic workflows, instrumentation, and department operations

Minimum Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a Chemical, Biological, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology Bachelor’s degree program

Internship Details

• Duration: 11 weeks, full-time
• Dates of Internship: June 1st – August 13th, 2027
• Eligibility: Preferred candidates are rising juniors and seniors (Dec 2027 through June 2029 graduation) who are currently enrolled in a relevant degree program; however, all current students pursuing related studies are encouraged to apply.

• Pay Range: $20.00-22.00/hr

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.

Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
