Job summary

Labcorp is offering an 11-week paid internship in Lakewood, CO. The program provides hands-on experience in diagnostic workflows, instrumentation, and laboratory operations, with mentorship and exposure to Labcorp’s global business culture.

Eligibility includes current enrollment in a relevant science degree program; the internship runs Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, with a strong emphasis on safety, professionalism, and a proactive learning mindset.

• Shadow laboratory professionals and learn diagnostic workflows, instrumentation, and department operations.
• Assist with non-testing laboratory tasks, such as specimen organization, inventory, and workspace preparation.
• Participate in approved mock testing, demonstrations, and basic laboratory techniques under supervision.
• Support approved laboratory projects.
• Follow all safety and compliance standard operating procedures.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm / 40hrs per week

Job Responsibilities

Internship Details

• Duration: 11 weeks, full-time
• Dates of Internship: June 1st – August 13th, 2027
• Eligibility: Preferred candidates are rising juniors and seniors (Dec 2027 through June 2029 graduation) who are currently enrolled in a relevant degree program; however, all current students pursuing related studies are encouraged to apply.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $17.75-22/hr

Benefits

Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
