Job summary

FedEx Freight offers an internship where you train with management and staff to gain hands-on experience in operations and sales. You will work on assigned tasks and projects related to your field of study, under supervision, and develop a working knowledge of applicable applications and tools.

Eligible interns may receive a $2,000 relocation allowance after start, subject to documentation. Key requirements include being enrolled as a junior or above with a 3.0+ GPA and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled junior or above, or recent grad within 12 months, at an accredited college/university.
• Major in Accounting, Finance, IS, Data Analytics, or related field.
• GPA 3.0 or above.
• May require completion of courses related to the specific function assigned.
• Must be reliable with strong follow-through; able to work independently and as a team.

• Gain knowledge of LTL industry principles, terms, policies and procedures as defined by company.
• Develop competency and understanding of processes and systems used in operations and sales.
• Gain understanding of analytical approach and procedures to measure operations objectives.
• Develop and communicate ad hoc reporting.
• Assist with various assignments and projects as assigned.
• Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Starting Rate of Pay: Bachelor's: $25.00/hour, Graduate: $30.00/hour

Individuals who relocate 50 or more miles for this position may qualify for a $2,000 relocation allowance following the start of the internship, subject to satisfying documentation requirements

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Train with department management, professional and support staff in order to gain work experience. Gain a working knowledge of applications and tools related to assigned functional area; perform assigned tasks and project work with supervision; specific duties/tasks determined by department management. Assignments are directly related to Intern’s field of study.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Gain knowledge of LTL industry principles, terms, policies and procedures as defined by company

• Develop through understanding of intent and control measures of reports for processes that post results

QUALIFICATIONS:
