Job summary

FedEx Freight is offering an internship designed to provide hands-on experience in operations and sales in Indiana. Interns will train with department management and staff, gain working knowledge of applications and tools, and complete tasks aligned with their field of study under supervision.

Qualified applicants must be enrolled at junior level or above (or recent grads within 12 months) pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, IS, Data Analytics, or related fields, with a 3.0+ GPA, and

• Major or course of study toward a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field required.
• A Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.

• Gain knowledge of LTL industry principles, terms, policies and procedures as defined by company
• Develop competency and understanding of processes and systems used in operations and sales
• Gain understanding of analytical approach and procedures to measure operations objectives
• Develop through understanding of intent and control measures of reports for processes that post results
• Develop and communicate ad hoc reporting
• Assist with various assignments and projects as assigned
• Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Starting Rate of Pay: Bachelor's: $25.00/hour, Graduate: $30.00/hour

Individuals who relocate 50 or more miles for this position may qualify for a $2,000 relocation allowance following the start of the internship, subject to satisfying documentation requirements

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Train with department management, professional and support staff in order to gain work experience. Gain a working knowledge of applications and tools related to assigned functional area; perform assigned tasks and project work with supervision; specific duties/tasks determined by department management. Assignments are directly related to Intern's field of study.
