The Intern Instructor oversees curriculum design, student learning contracts, and internship seminars, while coordinating with faculty advisors to meet academic requirements and ensure a rich experiential learning environment.

At FBH we have a variety of client services, including outpatient, inpatient, community outreach, crisis services, partnerships with schools, law enforcement and more. Our evidence-based, culturally appropriate, trauma informed behavioral health services address the diverse needs of those we serve.
PART TIME: .5 FTE - 20 hours per week. SCHEDULE: Schedule will be determined by (1) Agency needs and (2) School Schedules of Cohorts and thus, may fluctuate.
Under the direction of the Supervisor of Clinical Education, the Intern Instructor is responsible for oversight, design, and implementation of a Bachelor’s-level internship in community behavioral health and FBH models of practice and service delivery, using a cohort model. The Intern Instructor will also collaborate with faculty in area universities to ensure that interns’ academic learning objectives are met.
REQUIRED: Master’s degree in psychology, mental health counseling, social work, or related field and two years of experience providing behavioral health treatment services. DOH Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Marriage Family Therapist or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker.
PREFERRED: Experience teaching at the undergraduate level and/or facilitating staff learning opportunities.

$35.55-42.88 All pay is based on longevity at Frontier Behavioral Health; thus the starting pay for this position is as follows: $35.55 per hour.
