Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, Healthcare Administration or related field.
  • Rising sophomore, junior, or senior preferred; student status required for internship.

Responsibilities

  • Support planning, documentation, and optimisation of processes for new client launches, onboarding at a new facility, and transitioning existing clients to that facility.
  • Assist in developing workflows, process maps, checklists, implementation tools, and standardised materials for launch readiness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Distribution, IT, Account Management, Customer Service, and Implementation stakeholders.
  • Help define launch readiness criteria and execution roadmaps with milestones and key decision points.
  • Prepare summaries and status updates for project stakeholders and leadership.

As a Summer 2027 Intern, you will have the opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a professional business environment while gaining meaningful, hands‑on experience within our Integration Project Management team. Throughout the internship, you will work on real business initiatives, collaborate with team members and leaders, develop professional skills, and contribute to projects that support Cencora's purpose of creating healthier futures.

Start Date: June 7, 2027

End Date: August 13, 2027

Location: Remote, USA

Responsibilities
  • Support the planning, documentation, and optimisation of processes for new client launches, onboarding at a new facility, and transitioning existing clients to that facility.
  • Assist in developing workflows, process maps, checklists, implementation tools, and standardised materials to support launch readiness.
  • Work cross-functionally with Distribution team leads, IT, Account Management, Customer Service, Client Financial Services, and Implementation stakeholders.
  • Help define required process updates, identify risks and gaps, and support the creation of a structured execution roadmap with milestones, sequencing, and key decision points.
  • Support the definition of launch readiness criteria and operational handoff requirements.
  • Track action items, key deliverables, project timelines, and implementation progress.
  • Prepare summaries, presentations, and status updates for project stakeholders and leadership.
  • Contribute to improving launch readiness, reducing operational risk, and supporting a smooth client onboarding and transition experience.
Education and Experience

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Suitable for an undergraduate or graduate student with an interest in operations, process improvement, or project management. Rising sophomore, junior, or senior at the time of the internship preferred. Must not require sponsorship to work in the United States now or in the future.
