Job summary

The Human Resources Intern position at Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts offers hands-on experience supporting benefits, recruiting, and training for about 125 permanent staff and 400 seasonal employees.

You will create job postings, prepare offers, assist onboarding, and help with orientations, policy development, and benefits enrollment while gaining exposure to HR operations in a dynamic arts organization.

Responsibilities

  • Create and submit job requisitions and post openings on internal and external boards.
  • Prepare offer letters, onboarding and background checks.
  • Assist with new hire orientations, staff trainings, and policy development.
  • Support benefits renewals and Open Enrollment processes.
  • Provide administrative support to HR and maintain intranet resources.
