You will be assigned a supervisor who will provide formal/informal feedback along with mentorship and guidance throughout your internship. You will also be assigned a mentor to help support your personal and professional growth. Near the end of your internship, you will be asked to develop and give a presentation to HR leaders about your work assignment, as well as what you learned from your overall experience with the program.Assignments will be at one of our sites located in Bartlesville, Oklahoma; Houston, Texas; or Midland, Texas. Typical length of our internships varies from 10 to 14 weeks based on the project and your availability.Position OverviewAs a Human Resources Intern, you will:Receive diversified training through on-the-job assignmentsBe exposed to other HR functions outside of your immediate work group, including our HR Leadership teamLearn more about ConocoPhillips and our business, as well as the energy industry as a wholeBuild meaningful relationships through professional, social, volunteer and team activitiesResponsibilities may include:HR Business Partner role supporting various lines of businessesTalent Management (recruiting, talent development or learning)Compensation & BenefitsAdditional projects spanning different HR functionsBasic/Required:Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer and/or education institutionPursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Human Resources Management, Human Resources & Industrial Relations, other related field, or foreign equivalentCurrent level in college: Senior or Graduate StudentExpected graduation date: Fall 2027 through Spring/Fall 2028Available for internship start mid-late May 2027A minimum of ten (10) continuous weeks’ availability for internshipPreferred:Willing to work in any of these locations: Bartlesville, OK; Houston, TX; or Midland, TXA minimum cumulative and major GPA of 3.25 on a 4.0 scaleProficient in Microsoft office productsTakes ownership of actions and follows through on commitments by holding others accountable and standing up for what's rightTakes an active role in acquiring, developing and retaining a high-performing, highly engaged teamUnderstands how key financial and quantitative indicators impact the businessAll interested candidates must complete an online application at the ConocoPhillips Careers website to be considered for an interview.
