Job summary

Fincantieri Marinette Marine is seeking a Compliance & Government Property Intern at our Marinette, WI location. You will assist with compliance activities and government property management to gain familiarity with company and government requirements.

Domestic travel may be required. The internship covers data entry, disposition processes, audits, data analysis, reporting, and process improvement while supporting accountability of government property within the organization.

  • Support audits, inspections, data analysis, reporting, and process improvement initiatives related to compliance and government property requirements
  • Interact with various departments of the organization to support compliance objectives and ensure accurate accountability of government property
  • Other duties may be assigned

Position Summary

The Compliance & Government Property Intern assists with compliance, government property management, reporting, and process improvement activities while gaining familiarity with applicable company and government requirements.

Domestic travel may be required.

Essential Functions
  • Assist with with data entry, transfer and disposition processes, identifying discrepancies or areas of concern, and supporting corrective actions
  • Support audits, inspections, data analysis, reporting, and process improvement initiatives related to compliance and government property requirements
  • Interact with various departments of the organization to support compliance objectives and ensure accurate accountability of government property
  • Other duties may be assigned
Physical Demands and Work Environment

While performing job duties, the employee is frequently required to sit and occasionally stand or walk; use hands and arms to grasp, reach and type; stoop or kneel; and speak or hear. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. The position is primarily performed in a quiet, climate-controlled environment with minimal exposure to moving equipment, elements, or risk of injury. When entering the shipyard, there may be exposure to moving equipment, elements, or risk of injury.
