Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geography, Computer Science, or GIS-related field.
• Familiarity with fundamental GIS concepts (editing, topology, spatial queries, etc.).
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and suggest workflow improvements.
• Keen attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality results.

Responsibilities

GIS Intern - Utility Data Management

Halff has an immediate opening for a GIS Intern focused on utility data management in our Fort Worth, TX location. This position will provide essential support for GIS mapping, utility data conversion, database development, and field data collection with an emphasis on transportation, water, wastewater, or stormwater infrastructure. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, self-motivated, and eager to work on a diverse range of utility-focused GIS projects. Interns are paid hourly and work full-time (40 hours/week), typically 8a-5p Monday through Friday.

Halff does not pay for or provide housing for Internships.

GIS Intern Overview:
