Job summary

Sephora is offering a 10-week internship for an Intern, Software Engineer, Full Stack. You’ll join a collaborative engineering team focusing on front-end development with exposure to full-stack concepts, mentored by experienced engineers, and opportunities to work on real product work.

The program emphasizes learning through code reviews, pairing, testing, and participation in standups and planning. You’ll demonstrate Sephora values and present your project outcomes at the end.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field.
• Basic understanding of Linux, networking, APIs, Git, cloud computing, containers, or CI/CD concepts.
• Ability to break down problems, learn unfamiliar technology, document work clearly, and communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Exposure to one or more cloud platforms, infrastructure-as-code or CI/CD tools, containers, observability concepts, secure software development, or AI/ML platform technologies.

Responsibilities

• Observe and assist with simple API integrations and data flow between front-end and back-end.
• Participate in code reviews, pairing, and Git-based workflows.
• Learn basic testing practices and shadow engineers to understand reviews and delivery processes.
• Present the project outcomes, lessons learned, and next steps at internship culmination.
