Job summary

Clarins USA, Inc. is seeking an Intern – Financial Planning & Analysis in New York, NY. You will support the FP&A team with analyses to drive financial decisions and help ensure the long-term profitability of the business.

Ideal candidates have 0–2 years in a financial role, strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, LOOKUP, SUMIF), and a curious, proactive mindset. Availability to work 30–35 hours weekly, onsite on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, is required for a minimum of 6 months.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years prior experience in a financial role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Very strong Excel skills including Pivot Tables, LOOKUP, SUMIF, etc.

Responsibilities

• Assist the FP&A team with monthly sales and P&L reporting, analysis, and planning.
• Provide support to business partners through the monthly actuals and budgeting processes.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights to finance and business teams. Extract and analyze data from multiple datasets.
• Drive continuous improvement through developing and maintaining reports and processes.
• Assist with ad-hoc projects and other tasks as needed.

*Please only apply if you are available to work a minimum of 30-35 hours per week for a minimum of 6 months. You must be available to come onsite to our NYC office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. International students are welcome to apply. Target start date is mid-January, 2027.

The role:

You will support the FP&A team by providing the business with analysis and insights in order to drive informed decisions to reach our financial goals and ensure the long‑term stability and profitability of the business.

What you’ll do:

You will be a contributor in managing the P&L and providing support to the business working mainly on the E-Commerce, CRM, and media scope. You will help improve financial performance and assist in instilling a ROI mindset within the organization.
