As a FedEx Intern, you will be working on projects gaining you valuable, real-world experience in a professional environment as it relates to your field of study.

Essential Functions

Minimum Education

Currently enrolled student or recent college graduate (within 6 months of graduation) at a college/university obtaining a 3.0 GPA or higher.

Degree: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Statistics or other quantitative discipline.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Ability to work productively and proactively, both independently or as a part of a team.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Demonstrates interpersonal communication skills.

Time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills necessary to work in a fast-paced environment, handling various tasks and changing priorities, while maintaining a high attention to detail and accuracy to achieve daily assignments and goals.

Verbal and written communication skills necessary to communicate with across business units and to all levels of management.

Ability to analyze, review, and make recommendations.

Preferred Skills

• Any introductory exposure to Python, R, SQL, or macros
• Everyday familiarity using tools like Gemini or ChatGPT for coursework, research, or personal projects—specifically knowing how to ask clear, detailed follow-up questions to get better answers.
• Strong attention to detail and the common sense to double-check AI-generated math, formulas, and logic.
• Comfort using AI to figure out how to write Excel formula, clean up a dataset, or learn a new concept.
• Experience using pivot tables, basic lookup formulas (XLOOKUP or VLOOKUP), and logical functions (IF, SUMIFS).
• Ability to take a spreadsheet (like a CSV export) and organize it into a clean, structured table ready for analysis.

Summer 2027 Internship - Availability

to work 40 hours/week for a 10- week program, June 7th - August 13th. Resumes should include the following information: email address, telephone number, name of college/university, degree, major, GPA, date of intended graduation (month & year).

Pay Transparency

Pay: Salary is $25/hour for undergraduates and $30/hour for graduates. A $2,000 stipend is available for those relocating over 50 miles for an on-site or hybrid internship or co‑op experience.

Additional Details

This position will be hybrid in Memphis, TN and candidates must live within a 50-mile radius. Employees will be required to work at a FedEx office location up to several times per week.
