KCRA 3 & My58 Television in Sacramento is offering a Newsroom Intern position. You will learn how a television station operates across departments, collaborating with teams to get news on air and online, while observing the roles of different newsroom functions.
The internship covers Assignment Desk, TV News Production, Digital News Production, photographers/logistics, sports, and weather—providing hands-on experience and exposure to live and digital news workflows.
Come join KCRA/KQCA TV, the Hearst Television station in Sacramento, as a Newsroom Intern. As an intern, you’ll learn how a television station functions, including the many jobs available and the roles the TV station plays in the community. You will work with a collaborative team across multiple departments to get news on the air and on digital platforms, and appreciate the vital roles of other departments.
The internship is 10 to 12 weeks.
Interns will be paid $20.00 per hour.
