This is a paid internship, working 16 hours per week from Monday, July 6, 2026 - Friday, December 18, 2026. Current Salary is $19.61 per hour. Deadline to apply is Friday, May 22, 2026. Please state which internship(s) you are applying for in your cover letter and apply to each one individually.

The role will work hybrid between KQED's newly renovated headquarters and remote work.

  • Essential Functions in this role include developing and delivering timely, accurate news content for radio and digital platforms.
Other Job Functions
  • Develop active and concise news writing skills, create strong story pitches, and collaborate effectively in a newsroom setting.

Growth & Development Opportunities

This internship aims to prepare candidates for entry-level professional jobs in journalism.
