Job summary

S.R. Snodgrass, P.C. invites driven accounting students to join our audit internship for Spring/Busy Season 2027. You will gain hands-on experience on client work across nonprofit, financial, and manufacturing sectors, with January 2027 through April 2027 as the internship period.

We support academic credit and work with your school on required documentation. The role is hybrid—about half the time in-office—serving as a stepping stone into our public accounting practice.

Qualifications

• GPA 3.0 or greater preferred.
• Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week (Mon–Fri); set schedule required.
• Working towards a bachelor's degree in accounting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and highly organized with good time management.
• Snodgrass does not sponsor candidates for employment.

We are seeking interns to join our audit team for the Spring/Busy Season 2027. Candidates selected for this position will gain hands-on experience performing various client work for our external audit group's clients, which may include non-profit, financial institutions (including SEC-registrants), employee benefit plan, manufacturing, and a variety of other clients. Internships will begin January 2027 and will end in April 2027.

Looking to earn academic credit for your internship? Snodgrass will work with you and your school on all necessary documentation and requirements.

Responsibilities may include:

• Perform select sections and steps of the financial statement audit
• Maintain ongoing communication and keep firm management apprised of fieldwork status
• Accurately complete various projects and prepare reports/documents for management's review, using established firm policies and procedures
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team
• This internship is hybrid, meaning it will be a combination of remote and in-office work; candidates must be able to be in the office on a regular basis (minimum 0f 50% working in office)

Qualifications:

• Internship to start during candidate's junior or senior year of school; candidates completing their master's program will also be considered
• GPA 3.0 or greater is preferred
• Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week (Monday through Friday); set schedule required
