Job summary

S.R. Snodgrass, P.C. is seeking interns to join its Audit and Assurance Group for the summer. Interns will gain hands-on experience performing client work for nonprofit organizations primarily in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia, with internships running May 2027 through late July 2027.

This paid internship offers academic credit options and exposure to client communications, reports, and travel to client sites as needed while you learn auditing procedures and firm processes.

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor's degree in accounting.
• GPA 3.0+ preferred.
• Available to work ~32 hours per week in office (Mon-Thu).
• Sophomore or junior year; master's students considered.

Candidates selected for this position will gain hands-on experience performing various client work for our Audit and Assurance Group's nonprofit clients primarily in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. Internships will begin May 2027 and will end in late July 2027.

Looking to earn academic credit for your internship? Snodgrass will work with you and your school on all necessary documentation and requirements.

Key Responsibilities of the Role May Include:

• Perform audit procedures based on assessed risk for the financial statement audits
• Maintain ongoing communication and keep firm management apprised of fieldwork status
• Accurately prepare a variety of reports for management's review, using established firm policies and procedures
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team
• Occasional travel to clients

Qualifications

• Internship to start after candidate's sophomore or junior year of school; candidates completing their master's program will also be considered
• GPA 3.0 or greater is preferred
• Availability to work approximately 32 hours per week in office (Monday through Thursday)
• Working towards a bachelor's degree in accounting
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to travel to clients
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized with good time management skills
