Job summary

The Hanover Insurance Group, Inc. in Richmond, VA is recruiting for a Summer Internship within our Excess & Surplus Underwriting team. You will support underwriting activities, assist with quotes and endorsements, and complete a capstone project.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

• Support various underwriting functions in partnership with assigned Underwriters and team
• Assist with day-to-day underwriting transactions (quoting, endorsements, documentation, etc)
• Complete assigned tasked project for Professional Liability Department
• Create and present a final presentation for management and leadership members at the close of the internship program highlighting the work you accomplished throughout the summer

WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree or advanced degree program
• Risk Management/Insurance, Business, or Data Analytics majors preferred
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
• Ability to commit to a full time 10-week internship program
