Job summary

Compeer Financial is seeking a paid internship in education and events in Minnesota, offering a hybrid work model with up to 50% work-from-home. The role supports client and team education programs and event initiatives, with training opportunities and flexible summer schedules.

The internship runs through Summer 2027, located in Lakeville or Mankato, MN. Applicants should be enrolled in a related degree program and bring initiative, strong communication, and teamwork to the role.

Qualifications

• This internship is for enrolled students pursuing a bachelor's or master's in business admin, marketing, HR, hospitality, PR, project management, instructional design or related field.
• Ability to take initiative and work with limited guidance, with strong listening and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail, ability to juggle several projects, and work both in a team and independently.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications; knowledge of course-creation programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and/or coordinate projects for Compeer Financial's education and events programming for clients and team members.
• Maintain client-facing Learning Management System and create reports for internal stakeholders.
• Develop e-learning modules aligned with Compeer's brand and curriculum for clients.
• Collaborate with events team to design, produce and execute events for internal members and clients.

This is a paid internship; however, the intern must provide their own housing and transportation. Business related transportation and expenses will be paid by the organization. This intern will work full-time through the Summer of 2027. The internship is located out of either our Lakeville, MN or Mankato, MN office locations. If pursuing internship credit through your university, it is your responsibility to consult with your advisor and review the internship's job description to ensure it meets the minimum eligibility requirements.

The contributions you will make:

This internship will lead and/or coordinate projects pertaining to Compeer Financial's education and events programming for clients and team members.

A typical day:

• Assist in maintaining Compeer's client facing Learning Management System and developing reports for various internal stakeholders.
• Develop e-learning modules consistent with Compeer's brand and curriculum for clients.
• Work closely with the events team to design, produce and execute events for internal team members and clients.
• Assist with the production and marketing of virtual events and webinar programming.

The skills and experience we prefer you have:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited program with a major in business administration, marketing, human resources, hospitality, public relations, project management, instructional design or closely related major.
• Must possess a high degree of initiative and resourcefulness in completing work with limited guidance.
• Strong listening, verbal and written communication skills.
• Accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
• Ability to juggle several projects/tasks at once and set priorities.
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
• Proficiency in MS Office computer applications.

Knowledge of course creation programs a plus.

Actual hourly rate offered is dependent upon year in school, work experience, transferable skills, business needs and market demands. The hourly rate range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
