Job summary

Halff in Dallas, TX is seeking an Environmental Intern for a 10-week summer program from June 7 to August 13, 2027. The internship is paid hourly and requires full-time availability (40 hours/week).

Responsibilities include supporting environmental projects, data collection, ArcGIS/CAD/GPS data entry, and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams while developing professional skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in environmental science or related field; pursuing a master’s degree is a bonus.
• Strong communication skills across written and verbal forms.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• ArcGIS, CAD and/or GPS knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent research, analytical, and oral communication skills.

Halff is actively seeking an Intern for our Environmental team in our Dallas, TX office. The Internship will begin on June 7th, 2027, and conclude on August 13th, 2027.

Interns are paid hourly and work full-time (40 hours/week), typically 8a-5p Monday through Friday.
Halff does not pay for or provide housing for Internships.

Environmental Intern Requirements:

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in environmental science, biology, natural resources management, or related field;Pursuing amaster’s degree is a bonus
• Great communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Proficiency with ArcGIS, CADD and/or GPS technology is a plus
• Excellent research, analytical, and written and oral communication skills
• Positive attitude, initiative, and ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams
