Job summary

FNBO is offering a 12-week Enterprise Risk Management Internship Program designed to provide current college students with exposure to ERM and Business Continuity within the financial services industry. The program may extend to part-time during the school year where applicable.

As an intern, you will learn the basics of business continuity, interact with multiple departments, and receive hands-on mentoring from senior staff while gaining industry knowledge and professional contacts.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher after sophomore year.
  • Enrolled college student pursuing a degree in Business, Public Administration, Emergency Management, or Business Continuity.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the Business Continuity Program while gaining experience in continuity, risk management and the banking industry.
  • Develop process and system enhancements to improve efficiency and continuity practices.
  • Assist with ensuring compliance with laws, regulations and guidance.
  • Research and analyze business impacts, risk assessments and continuity testing.
  • Participate in internship program activities such as workshops, networking events, and community outreach.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for assisting with Business Continuity Program while gaining experience in continuity, legal, risk management and the banking industry.
  • Under the guidance of team leadership, you will work on tasks and projects to:
  • Help identify, develop, and implement process and system enhancements to continuously improve efficiency and business continuity best practices.
  • Assist with second line of defense in helping ensure corporate initiatives and departmental processes comply with applicable laws, regulations and guidance.
  • Assist with research and analysis of business impacts, risk assessments and continuity testing.
  • Participate in corporate internship program activities such as educational workshops, networking events, and community outreach.
Program Requirements
The Ideal Candidate for This Role:
  • Enrolled college student working towards college degree in Business, Public Administration, Emergency Management, or Business Continuity. Recent college graduates with similar degrees may also be considered.
  • Undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher after sophomore year
  • Possess leadership skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to a professional environment

Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.
