Job summary

TYLin is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to join our Aviation team for Summer 2027. You will gain hands-on experience with plans, quantity take-offs, scheduling, and modeling under the guidance of senior engineers.

Responsibilities include assisting in drawings, calculations, and reports, while collaborating with engineers, drafters, and staff. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Current 3rd year undergraduate status in Civil Engineering or graduate student in an accredited program.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D required.
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel.
• Ability to communicate clearly with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Become familiar with engineering plans and details.
• Perform quantity take-offs.
• Assist with project monitoring and scheduling.
• Assist with computer modeling.
• Assist with producing progress reports.
• Collaborate with engineers, drafters, and support staff.
• Assist in production of drawings, calculations, and cost estimates under supervision.
