Job summary

TYLin is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to join our Aviation team for Summer 2027.

You will gain practical experience supporting planning, design, and project coordination on aviation projects, with close guidance from senior engineers. You will work on AutoCAD/Civil 3D tasks, generate progress reports, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver constructible solutions.

Qualifications

• Currently a 3rd year undergraduate or graduate student in Civil Engineering.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D is required.
• Familiar with MS Word, Excel and engineering software.

Job Summary

Responsibilities & Qualifications

What You Will Do

• Become familiarwith engineering plans and details
• Perform quantity take-offs
• Assist with project monitoring and scheduling
• Assist with computer modeling
• Assist with producing progress reports
• Collaborate with other engineers, drafters, and support staff
• Assist in production of engineering drawings, calculations, and cost estimates under close supervision of senior engineers

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of producing clear documentation and interacting professionally with clients and colleagues

Your Education and Experience

• Requires current 3rd year standing as an undergraduate, or a Graduate student standing, in an accredited Civil Engineering program.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D required
• Experience with MS Word, Excel and engineering software
