Job summary

CIRCOR International, Inc. in Monroe, NC is seeking a hands-on engineering student intern to support testing, assembly, and documentation of Capital, AFM, and NPD products.

You will characterize equipment viability and assist in design reviews, while contributing to product data books, BOMs, and engineering releases. The role emphasizes basic engineering principles, SolidWorks or similar CAD experience, and strong time-management and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Students must be enrolled in an accredited engineering program and have completed Sophomore to Senior year.
• Design experience with SolidWorks or similar 3D modeling software.
• Strong written and verbal communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Fundamental understanding of manufacturing principles.
• Ability to manage time and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing, assembly, and documentation of Capital, AFM, and NPD products.

Candidate Requirements

• Understanding of basic engineering principles and practices
• Basic design skills and familiarity with SolidWorks or other, similar design software
• Solid skillset in Microsoft Office suite
• Basic understanding of manufacturing principles a plus

Education & Experience

• Currently enrolled in an accredited university engineering program, having completed Sophomore, Junior or Senior year, preferably in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering.
