The City of Austin invites driven students to join the Facility Engineering Division for the Spring internship. This role supports CIP-related tasks, data collection, reports, and documentation, while gaining exposure to civil and environmental engineering projects.

You will assist with data entry, drafting CIP documents, and learning project workflows within Austin Water’s facilities.

• Grad from an accredited high school or equivalent.
• Enrolled in an accredited college/university undergraduate degree program related to the internship.

Facility Engineering is primarily responsible for scoping and delivering Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Projects at our treatment facilities.The purpose of this position is to perform duties to support Austin Water's Facility Engineering Division, including various engineering and technical tasks as assigned.
