Job summary

Continental is seeking a credit internship candidate in Fort Mill, SC. You will assist with credit applications, maintain credit files, and liaise with dealers to collect receipts while supporting investigations with agency reports.

You will collaborate with the senior team to monitor standings and help prepare annual reviews for the PLT portfolio. Ideal candidates are enrolled in a US-accredited degree program, available for at least 12 months, and can commit 20–25 hours per week during regular

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a US-accredited degree program for at least 12 months.
• Able to dedicate 12 months toward internship.
• Minimum GPA of 2.8.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI).
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receipt, processing, and tracking of incoming credit applications and account modification requests.
• Create, update, and maintain credit files.
• Communicate with dealers to obtain delivery receipts.
• Support credit investigations with agency reports (Dun & Bradstreet, NACM, Secretaries of State, calls).
• Collaborate with Credit Analyst and Credit Manager to manage current standings.
• Assist in-depth annual credit reviews for the PLT portfolio.
• Complete projects and tasks supporting department short- and long-range goals.

• Assisting Credit team in preparing in-depth annual credit reviews for PLT portfolio
• Projects and tasks that serve the department short term needs and long-range goal

Qualifications

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

• Currently enrolled in a US accredited degree program for at least another 12 months and can dedicate 12 months toward this internship
• Able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during normal business hours (Mon-Fri)
• Must have and maintain a minimum GPA of a 2.8 or higher
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power Bi etc.)
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
