Job summary

ICM, Inc. offers an internship in manufacturing and fabrication where you’ll assist with projects, learn welding and fabrication basics, and work under experienced team members to understand project scopes and procedures.

You’ll gain hands-on exposure to shop environments, safe tool usage, and continuous improvement practices while reporting to a supervisor and adhering to safety policies.

• Learning to safely assist machine operators with fabrication equipment such as brakes, rolls, and other shop equipment.
• Following welding procedures and completing training or certifications as directed.
• Reporting changes, mistakes, broken equipment, or safety hazards to a supervisor or team lead.
• Practicing quality workmanship and supporting continuous improvement methods.
• Learning to safely use shop power tools and assist with material movement when trained and authorized.
• Following all safety rules, quality policies, and workplace expectations.
• Maintaining a clean, organized workspace and reporting to work on time.
• Performing other duties as assigned to support the manufacturing team.
• Report broken equipment and safety hazards to supervisor.
