Job summary

RTX's aerospace internship in Cedar Rapids offers a path to full-time employment after graduation. You will design, test and deploy software builds into the real system, and troubleshoot networking and system configuration (UDP/IP, XML).

Proficiency with Linux and Python to manage the system is expected, along with providing customer demonstrations and user guides. The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related STEM, plus hands-on experience with electronics, PCB

Qualifications

• Experience with analog, digital electronics, mixed signal, circuit design or PCB design.
• Experience using common electronic test and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, VNAs, DMMs and signal generators for circuit characterization, debugging and validation.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

What You Will Do:

• Design, test and deployment of software builds into the real system

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained by start date.
• Experience with one or more of the following: Analog, Digital Electronics, Mixed Signal, Circuit Design or Analysis, Electrical Components, Digital Signal Processing or PCB design.
• Experience using common electronic test and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, vector network analyzers (VNAs) digital multimeters (DMMs) and signal generators for circuit characterization, debugging and validation.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

• Displays experience using Python or similar programming language

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
