PAY RANGE:

$22.00 - $26.00 / Hour

Internship Position for Summer 2027

Scheduled Work Hours:

Monday - Thursday, 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Intern Description:

This position will support natural resource and environmental tasks at Wolf Creek Generating Station.

Job tasks include but not limited to:

• Operationally focused aquatic sampling
• Land management activities

Education and Experience Requirements:

Candidates must be currently enrolled in a degree path involving natural resources, environmental, or civil engineering.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Required:

• Must know or be willing to learn to drive trucks, boats, and utility vehicles.
• Must be willing to work in outdoor conditions.
• Proficiency in spreadsheets and databases preferred.
• Knowledge of common agriculture practices preferred.

Working Conditions:

A considerable amount of outside work with some office work and shop/lab work.
