GFT is offering a Construction Management Internship in New York City, NY. The internship runs mid-May through mid-August with an hourly rate of $21.00–$28.00, depending on experience and location.

You will join a collaborative team, support real client projects through observation and inspection, and gain exposure to project controls and documentation management. • Enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
• Demonstrated interest in the construction industry through applied academic coursework, internships, or related work experiences.
• Must have the ability to interface with all levels of personnel and management.
• Ability to thrive in a team environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Will require outside work in a variety of weather conditions.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Be Challenged To Do

During your internship, you will work on a highly functioning team and aid in providing construction services for a wide variety of projects. You’ll receive guidance, supervision and mentorship by experienced construction leaders and professionals with your success as the goal. The majority of our interns convert to full‑time employees.

In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $21.00 - $28.00 per hour. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
