Job summary

The St. Louis Blues are seeking an intern to assist with community and fan development within the community development department. The intern will work closely with the community development department to enhance skills and gain real world experience.

Tasks may include projects focused on fan engagement, youth hockey, community outreach, and auctions. This is a part-time, paid position working 20-29 hours per week, Sept-Apr, 2026-27 Blues season. Rate of pay is $15/hr.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled college student located in the St. Louis area.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills required.
  • Interest in professional sports focusing on fan development, youth programming, and non-profit fields.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be available to work daytime, nights, holidays, and weekends.
  • Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to community requests/questions through emails and phone calls.
  • Coordinate charitable donation program, maintain donation database, respond to donation requests, and assist in all aspects of giving/receiving donations.
  • Assist with planning and execution of outreach activities and special events (Blues for Kids Casino Night and others).
  • Attend and assist in coordinating community appearances (school visits, hospital visits, etc.).
  • Assist during game nights (experiences, activations in Blues for Kids section, etc.) and postgame meet & greets.
  • Assist with 50/50 raffle program.
  • Assist with Blues Bookworms education program.
  • Assist community development or other departments with related duties as assigned.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
