Job summary

Food Lion is offering a paid Summer Internship in Communications. The 11-week program provides hands-on projects across writing, interviewing, and modernizing communication tools, with opportunities to learn leadership and business skills.

Interns will work in a team environment, receive housing and transportation support if needed, and present end-of-program results to leaders. GPA minimum and transcript submission are required.

Program Overview

Internship positions are available for a broad range of challenging assignments. Our Summer Internship Program provides an opportunity to learn more about the complex supermarket industry. Internship participants will have the ability to develop the leadership skills and business knowledge they will need to begin their career. This internship experience is an opportunity to work on projects that are meaningful and hands-on. Throughout the summer, interns will work in a team environment designed to promote and reward individuality, innovation, leadership, and strong business results.

Program Qualifications

Projects may fall under any of the following areas: Communications, such as writing articles, interviewing associates for articles, modernizing communication methods, developing new communication tools, supporting The Mane Line associate newsletter or other communications projects.
