Job summary

Iaas Lc is seeking a student intern in Civil/Traffic Engineering to support traffic observation, reporting, and design planning for transportation projects in Miami, FL. The role includes data collection, preparation of figures, and coordination with the Site/Civil group.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a civil/traffic engineering degree with a GPA of 3.0 or higher, familiar with HCS/SYNCHRO/MUTCD, and with knowledge of AutoCAD or MicroStation. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Student actively pursuing a four-year or advanced degree in Civil or Traffic Engineering / Transportation Planning.
• GPA 3.0 or greater preferred.
• Familiarity with HCS, SYNCHRO, and the MUTCD desirable.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation, and/or SoftDesk civil software is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with analytical and judgment capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Willingness to travel as required based on business needs and project assignments.

• Observe construction activities;
• Assist with data collection, preparation of figures and graphics, and support the Site/Civil group as needed;
• Perform other duties as requested.

About You
