The Therapist Intern will provide clinical services to patients in our Inpatient Program. Therapist‑Interns make assessments, create treatment plans, serve as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team and document in the patient chart interactions with patients and family as well as the patient's progress toward reaching treatment goals.
Therapist Interns also engage in discharge planning activities. The Therapist Intern provides group, individual and family therapy activities and collaborates with community providers, social service agencies and other therapeutic programs. Therapist‑Interns are called upon to perform crisis intervention and to address hostile behaviors in accordance with facility approved interventions.
