ENERCON invites energetic civil and structural engineering students to join our Nuclear Design Group internship. You will contribute to designing and strengthening critical infrastructure for energy projects while gaining valuable industry experience in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Offices in multiple U.S. locations, including Kennewick, WA, offer hands-on learning, mentorship, and opportunities to travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• Graduating with a bachelor’s or master’s degree from an ABET- accredited school in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
• Preferred graduation window between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Available to start May 2027 to June 2027, with travel willingness.
• Courses: Steel, Concrete, Structural Analysis favored.
• Solid foundation in core concepts of your major.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; strong writing and communication skills.

• Available to start on an agreed upon date between May 2027 and June 2027.
• Preferred Courses:Steel, Concrete, and Structural Analysis.
• A solid working foundation with your major's core concepts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
• Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams.
• Ability to effectively problem solve.
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders at client sites.
• Must be able to effectively navigate client sites to conduct walkdowns.
• Must be able to work outside.
• Ability and willingness to travel for client and company projects and/or meetings.

Interview and Employment Requirements:

• Completion of pre interview assessments.
• College transcript submitted for anyone under 1 year of experience post-graduation.
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings, ENERCON and client-specific background checks, and annual motor vehicle record (MVR) checks according to company and client policies.
