Job summary

Hoyle Tanner Internship Program in our Northeast Municipal Engineering Services Group is seeking a motivated intern. This position can be based out of Manchester, NH, Portsmouth, NH, Chelmsford, MA or Burlington, VT.

This is a paid internship with a May 2027 start date; earlier starts may be available on a limited basis. Responsibilities include preparing CADD drawings and contract plans, performing engineering calculations, quantity takeoffs, and cost estimates, attending limited site visits,

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in Civil or Environmental Engineering program.
• EIT is preferred, or ability to obtain.
• Experience using AutoCAD and Civil 3D is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Preparing CADD drawings and contract plans, performing engineering calculations, quantity takeoffs, and cost estimates.
• Attend limited site visits for projects under construction.
• Compiling technical reports and project documentation.
• Supporting project meetings and coordination efforts.
