Job summary

AgCertain invites motivated undergraduates in Dairy/Food Science to join a hands-on Cheese Production Internship. You will learn the complete blue cheese-making process from start to finish and complete a project addressing business needs.

Expect structured training, safety-first work, and exposure to manufacturing operations. You'll build expertise in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint while reporting progress to a supervisor.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student in Dairy Science or Food Science.
• Strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint and technical skills.
• Interest in engineering and safety-minded.
• Enrolled for a 12-week internship (May 24 – Aug 13, 2027).

Responsibilities

• Operate safely in all AgCertain environments and fulfill tasks with high engagement.
• Build understanding of AgCertain’s growing role in the agriculture industry and learn the blue cheese-making process.
• Troubleshoot potential problems within the manufacturing environment.
• Maintain clear communication with supervisors through regular progress reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

As a Cheese Production Intern, you will get hands-on experience within a food manufacturing environment and learn the process of making blue cheese from start to finish.
