Job summary

Terracon offers an internship and co-op program exposing you to geotechnical, environmental, materials, and facilities engineering, plus business functions. You’ll work with professionals who live our core values daily, developing skills through field and lab tasks and mentorship.

Eligible majors include Civil, Environmental, Geotechnical, Geological, Construction Engineering, Biology, Geology, or related fields; a valid driver’s license may be required.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, science, technical, or business related fields.
• Interest in consulting and fieldwork.
• Demonstrated curiosity, teamwork, and alignment with Terracon’s values.
• A valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history may be required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with experienced engineers and technicians on field and laboratory assignments
• Support active project work and observe how technical decisions translate to client and community outcomes
• Build core skills in sampling, testing, data analysis, and report development
• Receive mentorship from professionals committed to helping you grow
• Participate in a nationwide internship cohort program and share your experience with executive leadership

Education

Pursuing bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering/science/business fields
