Job summary

Terracon offers an internship and co-op program that provides practical exposure to geotechnical, environmental, materials, and facilities engineering, plus the business functions that support these services. You will work alongside professionals who live Terracon’s core values daily and participate in a nationwide internship cohort.

You’ll collaborate with engineers on field and lab assignments, observe how technical decisions impact clients and communities, and build skills in sampling,

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, science, technical, or business related fields.
• Interest in consulting and fieldwork.
• Demonstrated curiosity, teamwork, and alignment with Terracon’s values.
• A valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history may be required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with experienced engineers and technicians on field and laboratory assignments
• Support active project work and observe how technical decisions translate to client and community outcomes
• Build core skills in sampling, testing, data analysis, and report development
• Receive mentorship from professionals committed to helping you grow
• Participate in a nationwide internship cohort program and share your experience with executive leadership

Eligible Majors
Civil, Environmental, Geotechnical, Geological, or Construction Engineering; Biology; Geology; or other related technical or business fields.
