Job summary

Food Lion is offering a 11-week paid summer internship designed to develop leadership skills and business knowledge in the complex supermarket industry. Interns will work on hands-on projects, participate in team-based settings, and have access to learning activities and Lunch & Learn sessions with business leaders.

Internship dates run May 17, 2027 through August 4, 2027, with opportunities to present outcomes to Food Lion leaders.

Program Overview

Internship positions are available for a broad range of challenging assignments. Our Summer Internship Program provides an opportunity to learn more about the complex supermarket industry. Internship participants will have the ability to develop the leadership skills and business knowledge they will need to begin their career. This internship experience is an opportunity to work on projects that are meaningful and hands-on. Throughout the summer, interns will work in a team environment designed to promote and reward individuality, innovation, leadership, and strong business results.

Program Qualifications
