Description
Intern Case Supervisor I

At Developmental and Educational Psychological Services (DEPS), we see every child’s potential—not just their diagnosis. Our team is passionate about play-based, family-centered care that empowers kids to learn, grow, and shine. As an Intern Case Supervisor on our multidisciplinary crew (BCBAs, SLPs, OTs), you’ll help shape lives while feeling supported, challenged, and celebrated.

Our mission is to partner with each family, tailoring treatment plans that reflect their values, interests, and goals. At DEPS, we’re not just providing ABA therapy—we’re creating a space where children flourish, families feel supported, and clinicians thrive. Our child-led, naturalistic approach sets us apart and keeps our work deeply rewarding.

Position Overview

The Intern Case Supervisor is a developing clinical leader who has completed or is nearing completion of the educational and certification requirements to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and is working toward independent licensure as a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA). Working under the close supervision of a BCBA/LBA, the Intern Case Supervisor supports the development, implementation, and monitoring of individualized treatment plans for clients receiving ABA services. This role provides an opportunity to strengthen clinical leadership skills, gain supervised experience, and prepare for advancement into a BCBA position after obtaining all required certification and licensure.

  • Prepare clinical recommendations for review and approval by the supervising BCBA.
  • Help ensure services are delivered consistently with each client’s treatment plan.
  • Complete session notes, progress summaries, reports, and other required documentation accurately and on time.
Team Support and Supervision

  • Respond to questions and concerns with professionalism, empathy, and appropriate clinical oversight.
Collaboration and Compliance
  • Participate in clinical meetings, supervision sessions, case reviews, and team trainings.
  • Coordinate with BCBAs, RBTs, caregivers, and other members of the client’s care team.
  • Follow all organizational policies, payer requirements, ethical standards, and applicable regulations.
  • Maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements.
  • Actively participate in professional development and supervised fieldwork activities.

  • Current RBT certification or other applicable credential, if required.
  • Actively pursuing BCBA certification and LBA licensure.
  • Completion of required ABA coursework or enrollment in an approved course sequence.
  • Experience providing ABA services to children or adolescents.
