Job summary

Connors Group is seeking a student Analyst to participate in client consulting projects and contribute to each engagement while learning the consultant role.

This role emphasizes professional behavior, value delivery, and high-quality service as you work within manufacturing, distribution and retail client environments across the US.

Extensive travel (80-100%) is required, with interaction across client sites and teams nationwide.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering with a 3.0+ GPA.
  • Ability to travel extensively (80-100%) across the US.
  • Strong work ethic and capability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess and solve problems.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
  • Active driver's license and access to reliable auto transportation and a major US airport.

Responsibilities

  • Successfully complete data collection activities for studies across multiple industries.
  • Professionally communicate with all levels of client site staff and project teams.
  • Manage time effectively and report progress to the project lead on assigned observation durations.
  • Travel extensively (80-100%) throughout the US.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities
  • Successfully complete data collection activities for various types of studies across multiple industries
  • Professionally communicate with all levels of employees at the client site, and all levels within the project team
  • Responsible for self-time management, progress reporting of tasks to direct project lead and work productively for the assigned observation durations on the client site
  • Travels extensively (80-100%), and sometimes independently, throughout the US
  • Other duties as assigned

Working Conditions
  • Time of day: Evenings (5 PM - 10 PM), overnight shifts (10 PM – 6 AM)
  • Day of week: Weekends (Saturday/Sunday)
  • Strenuous Activity: Continuous walking throughout the shift, standing on your feet the entire shift
  • Environmental: Client sites with abnormal temperatures, such as but not limited to, above 70°, between 37° and 50°, and below 32°
