Job summary

Connors Group is seeking an Intern Analyst for an industrial engineering-focused internship across multiple client sites in the United States. You will participate in data collection activities and communicate with client teams while learning the consulting role.

You will travel extensively, work with experienced teams, and develop the technical skills required for professional consulting in Manufacturing, Distribution and Retail industries.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS in Industrial Engineering.
• Willing to travel 80–100% across the US.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to assess and solve problems.
• Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.
• GPA minimum 3.0 in IE courses.
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation to US airports.

Responsibilities

• Successfully complete data collection activities for various types of studies across multiple industries.
• Professionally communicate with all levels of employees at the client site and within the project team.
• Manage own time and report progress to the project lead; work productively during observation durations at client sites.
• Travel extensively (80–100%) across the US.
• Perform other duties as assigned; show initiative and analytical thinking.

Working conditions

Intern/Co-Ops, at times, must work in challenging, non-standard environments. This could include:

• Time of day: Evenings (5 PM - 10 PM), overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM),
• Day of week: Weekends (Saturday/Sunday)
• Strenuous Activity: Continuous walking throughout the shift, standing on your feet the entire shift
• Environmental: Client sites with abnormal temperatures, such as but not limited to, above 70°, between 37° and 50°, and below 32°
