Job summary

Moog is seeking a spring 2027 Intern in Advanced Manufacturing to contribute to engineering tasks and provide hands-on support within the Space & Defense Group. The position requires relocation for the internship and access to export-controlled information, with an onsite schedule in Elma, NY and Buffalo, NY area.

The ideal candidate is pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Mechatronics engineering, maintains a 3.0 GPA, and demonstrates strong teamwork and communication.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechatronics, or related program.
• GPA of at least 3.0; department may specify exact GPA.
• Must have access to U.S. export-controlled information.
• Ability to relocate for the internship.

• Assist in planning and executing key engineering tasks at Moog.

Intern, Advanced Manufacturing

Job Title: Intern, Advanced Manufacturing reporting to: Manager, Engrg. Work Schedule: Onsite - Buffalo, NY. The Advanced Manufacturing team within our Space & Defense Group is seeking a spring 2027 block intern. The intern will have an onsite work schedule in Elma, NY.

Requirements

• Enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechatronics, and/or other relevant Bachelor's or Master's Degree program, at an accredited university.
• GPA of at least 3.0; exact GPA requirement will be specified by department.
• This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
• Ability to relocate for the duration of the internship.
• Students within the Moog U.S. Internship Program are expected to have a professional disposition, effective communication skills, a strong desire to learn, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the preparation and execution of key engineering tasks at Moog.
• Provide technical support to engineers, as needed.
• Work experience may include developing new technologies to support operations; testing, integrating, and programming AI tools, and/or working with hardware and software, based on the student's educational discipline.
• Provide input on project processes, strategies, and execution.
• Operate as a multidisciplinary member of a team of creative, independent individuals.
• Represent Moog in a manner consistent with its technical and professional reputation.

Salary

Salary Range Transparency: Buffalo, NY $25.50–$31.00 Hourly Salary Range Disclaimer The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
