Energy Transfer Partners, L.P. is seeking dynamic Accounting Interns for a 12-week summer program beginning May 2027 in Houston.
The internship supports accounting systems, financial reporting, fixed assets, and shared services while candidates are enrolled in a degree program with a Spring 2028 expected graduation. Ideal interns will be enrolled in Accounting or Finance, preferably as juniors, with strong Excel skills and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Energy Transfer is a master limited partnership that owns and operates one of the largest and most diversified portfolios of energy assets in the United States. In total, the Company owns and operates approximately 120,000 miles of natural gas, crude oil, refined products, and natural gas liquids pipelines, terminals, and acquisition and marketing assets which are used to facilitate the purchase and sale of crude oil, natural gas, natural gas liquids, and refined products.
Summary:
Our Accounting Department is seeking dynamic, personable, and professional Accounting Interns for the 2027 summer. Departments including accounting systems, financial reporting, fixed assets, operational accounting and shared services.
This is a twelve (12) week paid internship program beginning May 2027. You must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program with an expected graduation date in Fall 2027 or Spring 2028.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ideal candidate expectations, roles and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Performgeneral accounting duties such as account reconciliations to support accuracy of the general ledger and related sub-ledgers, assist with preparation of monthly consolidated financial statements and special projects as needed
Work cross-functionally with measurement, scheduling, business development, contract administration and other related departments in completing the monthly close processes for midstream, pipeline assets, and fuel distribution
Support real projects in areas likeCrude Oil, Natural Gas, NGL & Midstream
Work in Commodity Accounting, T ransportation Services, and Gas PlantSettlements
Assist with Regulatory Reporting &Compliance
Analyze Profit & Loss to support businessdecisions
